Latest info from my sources
I came across this info that has a very high probability of strong consideration. The PAC 12 is going to consider getting into real estate and could purchase enough land in the EST states in order to open up small satellite campuses where their respective FB teams will be housed. They will also build various on campus stadiums - with the most likely outcome being a pooling of resources for 2 or 3 schools to share a stadium. This is being proposed as a means to solve the East Coast Bias problem.

For example, Arizona State University - Poughkeepsie, NY campus. Have a 50K - 80K stadium built on the cheap - and then everyone can watch the "Sun Devils of Poughkeepsie" on Sat, 12 PM EST.

This concept is being discussed as we speak - since it would be PST zone people having the discussions.

You're welcome.

My wikipedia-diving of the PAC-12 AD's and Vice President of Athletics Affair's parent's schools indicates that this could happen. But I'd call it a moderate probability, not a very high probability. we should fight about this for 20-30 pages.

This could also interact with the secret plan to have a series of PAC-12 conference games in Chinese and Persian Gulf stadiums--Hong Kong, Tokyo, Singapore, Canberra, possibly Qatar after the World Cup stadiums get built.

I particularly liked the "cheap stadium in Poughkeepsie". Nothing is cheap within 200 miles of NYC.

Funny thing is, it's not quite as far-fetched as you might think...

Another option, just go ahead and offer the world to Notre Dame as a Pac-12 expansion candidate!

RE: Latest info from my sources
Got some new info on this plan, and it sounds even more cutting edge than I anticipated. The PAC plans to have the schools that migrate their football programs to "brick and mortar" campuses created in the eastern states play the games on a "VR Friendly" field. Basically, it will be "Green Room" football! The most prominent alumni from the west coast will "attend" these football games via going to "VR Luxury Suites". They will be provided with the latest luxuries that can be provided and the most cutting edge technologies in order to get full immersion into a top notch stadium without having to travel to the east to see their team.

I'll share more info as it comes in but...DAMN! I think they may have popped the clutch from the anticipated paradigm shift!!!

The only way around east coast bias is to head north.

To the North coast of Canada’s Northern Territories.

Where it’s just too cold for bias.

You’re well.

I hope they get riverfront property in Poughkeepsie! The Hudson valley is lovely in the fall! Maybe they can play Army!

No matter how good a team was, I wouldn't expect good attendance in Poughkeepsie.

You lost me at "a 50K - 80K stadium built on the cheap" anywhere in New York.

This latest info will contain a level of esotericity, so keep this in mind when reading it. Feasibility studies are going forward. The PAC will be undertaking a deep dive of the proposal in order to have a comprehensive understanding of the long term benefits/disadvantages to making these moves. As more info comes in, I'll let you know.
