Could assure 4 bids while UCF avoids the 8/9 seed.

I don't think there's a doubt in the world that if UCF beats Temple and then in the 3/6 or 2/7 game- they'd be no worse than a 7 with a chance at a 6.....

Temple would only need to win vs Memphis in the 4/5 game to make the tourney for sure...

Lunardi update for tonight-
Houston 3E Salt Lake vs Montana, Nevada/Texas
Cincy 7W Jacksonville vs Oklahoma, LSU
UCF 8 MW Columbia vs Utah St, UNC
Temple 11S Des Moines vs Miss St, Michigan

Temple last team with bye. Think this probably will hold if they can just beat Wichita on Friday. UCF may if they can beat Memphis move out of that 8 line now.

6 is probably the highest UC can get to unless the committee really values their 10-5 Q1/Q2 record. (19-5 if you include Q3).

It would behoove them to find a way to get to the 6 line because I think the 3 seeds will all be beatable.

Just as long as it ain't in the same region as Houston's 3 seed.

As much as I am against AAC teams being placed in the same regions, I would be happy with it being unavoidable (i.e. at least 5 schools).

I frankly think a trip to the final of the conference tournament and Houston is a 2 seed.

The bracket rules would prevent UC being the 6 seed to Houston's 3 seed as we have already played twice (maybe even a third time). It would have been possible if we had only played once, but they still would have tried to avoid it if possible.

That's a tasty pairing. Nevada is smoke and mirrors and UT doesn't belong in the tournament.

And we both beat Payday 3.0 to it.

RE: NCAA Tournament Seed Watch Thread
USA today has all four in with comparable seeds to what we have seen.

However, on life support? Memphis. I haven't really looked at them that much have they had Memphis hanging around earlier?

Lol. Well done.

In seriousness though, Nevada is such a hot/cold team. You are either going to get a Top 10 team or the team that lost by like 30 to New Mexico. Might as well walk into a casino when playing them.
