OT: FX and Nat Geo removed from FoxNow app
Effective March 1, Fox has removed FX, FXX, FXM, National Geographic and Nat Geo Wild from its Fox Now app for Roku, Fire TV, Apple TV, etc. Fox previously had all of its channels available to stream or watch on demand through one this one app. FX, FXX, FXM, National Geographic and Nat Geo Wild are all being sold to Disney. Looks like the Disney acquisition of various Fox assets will close shortly.

As somebody who grew up reading it to the point of being a Geo Bee slayer, it's a damned shame at what Nat Geo has become. A shadow of itself in both print and TV form. Fuhrer Mickey should just take it out back and give it some mercy two to the head style.

Have some nostalgia:

Maybe Disney will fix it. It would fit nicely in their G-rated entertainment profile.

It will be interesting for Sling subscribers as to whether or not these channels migrate to Sling Orange or stay in Sling Blue

I too believe the best thing to happen to NatGeo in the last decade is to be bought by Disney.

Nat Geo and Disney Animal Kingdom seem like a good match. Disney has done some good animal documentaries as well
