Big big win for the Owls! Thrilled for Shizz, Ern and Dunphy. Great game to the Knights especially Dawkins. Hope this win keeps us in!

Congrats on the huge win. Hope this punches your ticket. Alston hit everything early and Temple took B.J. Taylor completely out of the game. 04-cheers

That would be fun, but I don't think the odds are good for us to win 4 in a row, even at home.

They do this on purpose. It happened last year with UC/WSU at the end. They look at the expected strength of each and rank them and then build the schedule around that. Most years you are going to see this.

Yep. I like that approach. They decided to do that a few years ago, b/c some of our late games weren't helping us get in the NCAAT, playing teams with bad RPIs.

Truth. Temple has been burned once in the American not getting in when they should have. Most likely we are the tournament 3 seed, and will play winner of Wichita-ECU, which is better than playing Memphis.

I realize that. It's well documented. But it doesn't always play out as expected. This year, it did.

I think Dunleavy told his team to tank. The ultimate conference tourney surprise strategy.

Better watch out for the Wave.

True, but it's much better than leaving it to chance. They also try to make sure all the top teams play each other twice., or at least a lot.

RE: Saturday (3/9) AAC Basketball Games
its crazy, we were looking at 2 bids just a week ago..the exact sequence of events we needed to happen happened!!

all 4 are securely in, even though temple is technically still "on the bubble" (85%+ on making it )

all 4 would make it in, even with a 1st round loss....meaning a 5th bid could even be stolen

For sure! I love that top teams play each other twice. UC, for example, only played ECU and Tulane once each this year (no comment on the ECU loss!).

Memphis is host, and Wichita is on a tear - could be mighty interesting!

So, let's get those 2 in the final, and we'll have 5 bids!

The thread on here would be epic. 03-lmfao
