At minimum, Dawson will likely take Lang's minutes (20/game) as the first guard/wing off the bench and could possibly supplant Justin Brown in the starting lineup.
I personally don't see a low-major non-superstar transfer and regular 3-star freshman having a bigger impact than Dawson on a team with so much projected depth but it remains to be seen.
maybe in part becuase you havent seen our coaches talk about gorham and i have...ill be honest we we first landed gorham i wasnt that impressed either, on paper not that big a get ..but since his arrival, our coach have been non stop hyping him
this a interview from a few months ago (less than a minute)
there is a more recent one, but i cant find the video, he calls gorham the best ISO players in the team (elite in the post and now developed into a elite shooter) and depending on the practice looks like the best player...and that he is developing at an extremely fast rate, he came is as a subpar shooter, and is now one of the best shooters on the team..and assistant calls him the biggest "dog" on the team
and caleb mills is only a 3star becuase he played for a non money/shoe aau team...his non-money aau team played in 1 shoe tourney 1 weekend...and him being a high 3star and his 40 offers (mostly p5, like Tennessee) all came in that weekend (including Cincy)..had he played in the Adidas or nike circuit he would be ranked higher. sampson calls him one of the best scorers he's ever seen
you can see all of this "coach speak" but i think what is really telling is we have had 2 scholarships available and we haven't offered a new 2019 recruit in 8months..and sampson has been hyping next season.has has shown he has confidence in those 2
