cronin said they were was told to vote by a certain time...the aac literally just said the technically said the deadline was sunday but said coaches vote early ...

they never denied encouraging coaches to vote early

again this isnt the UH coach, complaining about his player..its the coach of the player who won, who has no reason to lie

id bet money almost all of them voted on saturaday, so the adminstrative staff wouldnt have to come to work on sunday

And through 17 games of play, they voted for jarron. Single game performances can’t just swing the vote.

I mean, best single performance easy was Martin.

Your guy lost fair and square. The fact that he came in 3rd place, kinda means that a single game performance isn’t swinging the vote thar much.

I mean UC lost to Houston, but it’s not like it was jarron’s fault.

Literally both players scores 47 points in the combined two games between the 1 and 2 team in the league.

Both walked away averaging 23.5 ppg against top 20 defenses.

You won the league title. That should be enough for you to be happy about.

Jarron won player of the year by the people who have to gameplan around him.

And since the vote was sent in via email, it absolutely sure they could have changed their vote after if they felt so bad about not voting for Davis

Davis is nice, but I don't think he is in the same category as Cumberland or Martin.

How do you know he came in 3rd.. when you go Homer it's really wierd

Also watch the post game Cronin basically blames Cumberland for losing .. with horrible defense and taking 3s (shot selection)... Goes on too take digs about him that this isn't the NBA and that isn't okay in College

Also Cronin basically insinuates a single game would have changed his vote if he hadn't already voted for davis

Lololololol jarron scores 20 on just 11 shots. You make a lot of assumptions. Jarron’s issue was not 3’s... he was 3-7 from 3, 43% close to his yearly average.

Jarron and nysier Brooks were the only guys who showed up for cincinnati. Cane was 1-6 from 3, jenifer 0-3, lol literally jarron made half of UC’s 3’s...

How in the world could you blame Cumberland for losing?

He did exactly what he should have done. Drew fouls and hit 3’s...

Here is the reason they lost: their 2 senior PG’s go a combined 2-16 from the field, and finish with offensive ratings of 73 and 50 lol

You take coach speak to heart.

Do you also think Mick has tryouts on Monday??

Butt hurt...

Just say your butt hurt that UC players have won player of the year 2 years in a row when you thought Rob Gray and Corey Davis should have been POY.

It’s cool to be butt hurt sometimes. I was, when we lost. I left a game with 6 min left because I know UC had gave up for the first time all year. And I’m over it.

Get over it.

Believe in JC. Get some forgiveness in your heart and let his light shine into it.

This was a huge reason they lost. The other reason was they got destroyed on the glass. If they do either of those things at a decent level they have a nice lead before Houston gets hot. That game wasn't on Cumberland.

Lol. He benched him because he knew we lost, so did jarron. You want your best player out there playing meaningless basketball right before you play meaningful basketball ? You’re smarter than that.

Mick is know to say dumb dumb **** after a loss. He knows his players listen to post games and has said as much.

So you think Mick held tryouts then? Do you think Mick really had a meeting deciding who he will take to Memphis.

Lololol jarron will start on Friday. Like he has all season.

Clearly you don’t know mick.

Sure. Rebounds killed us too.

Actually UC’s lead disappeared when Mick made the dumb decision to get jarron rest as if a 6 point lead was large enough to rest the only guy who had it that night.

Uhhhh what was their to talk about.

I said my peace on Sunday. And then went home and took my daughter to a birthday party.

Should I have hung around all the rest of that day in the message boards?

I felt fine about the loss on Monday especially after not even dropping out of the polls. I felt even better seeing jarron make first team all league and now even better knowing the coaches think we have the best player.

Every one is 0-0 from here on out. Houston could spoil its season and UC could save its. Everything is back on the table.

If being a sports fan only brings you misery, find another hobby. I’m ready for the next two week.

Lol we’re not talking about defense.

Now you bring up defense lol. You said at first he was talking bad shots and all that . Now it’s about his defense.

Jarron played multiple possessions of good D including swatting the **** out of jarreau to save a bucket.

But he was dead tired. And Houston couldn’t miss. The game was over. Everyone knew it. So did mick

You guys have seen me lose my compuser to think this is me losing my compuser

I called in your other thread ....I said if Cronin is right and all coaches voted early it's Cumberland otherwise I think it's Corey...so I was well aware of the possibility

JC had to die on Sunday only to rise again 5 days later. We are all Witnesses

you have lost your composure lol

first you disappear for days after UC loses, now you come back really really strong at the 1st sign of good UC thing...
again i expected this

Coach P... bruh... you are sounding a little too emotionally attached to whether your boy wins POY.

It's okay that he wasn't as good as Jarron, lord and savior of UC basketball, Cumberland. There was only 1 man who could hoist that offense upon his shoulders.

Mick is know to say dumb dumb **** after a loss. He knows his players listen to post games and has said as much.

So you think Mick held tryouts then? Do you think Mick really had a meeting deciding who he will take to Memphis.

Lololol jarron will start on Friday. Like he has all season.

Clearly you don’t know mick.

there were 6 mins left in the game, who gives up with 6 mins left in the game...there wouldnt be another game for 6 days...

justin you are smarter than that..i honestly dont like it when you go so extreme on the homerism...you are reasonable a alot of the times

and if it was resting why would he go off on him and him only in the post game??? he said everyone else played good defense...the cumberland was playing horrible defense and insinuates houston was targeting him...

i hate arguing common sense..lets agree to disagree

Lol we’re not talking about defense.

Now you bring up defense lol. You said at first he was talking bad shots and all that . Now it’s about his defense.

Jarron played multiple possessions of good D including swatting the **** out of jarreau to save a bucket.

But he was dead tired. And Houston couldn’t miss. The game was over. Everyone knew it. So did mick

i said both... i said cronin said he cost them the game becuase he was playing horrible defense and shot selections

cane and jeniffer missed a ton of 3s, but a huge portion of that was when cumberland was on the bench at the end of the game..
and the one shooting shoots when houston started coming back was cumberland...

and his issue wasnt miss or making, but recognizing the situation,, the houston was in foul trouble, the refs were calling everything .. he expanded on it in his coaching show that his guards should have known to keep feeding the paint instead of shooting instead of trying to match 3s

my quote
Quote:Also watch the post game Cronin basically blames Cumberland for losing .. with horrible defense and taking 3s (shot selection).
