Apparently, the power conference language is bleeding into college basketball and there are now 6 power conferences and we are not one of them.

And they left out Cincinnati, lol.

It's hard to take anyone who writes for Yahoo! serious. but, i've heard all kinds of terms being thrown around lately. I'm not too worried about it though because in a few years no one is going to remotely consider us a non-power conference.
this conference looks to be sending no less than 4 teams to the dance annually.
