The goalposts will continuously move until Memphis fans turn on Penny or they realize on their own that he’s not bringing them a title. This year was supposed to be an NCAA bid but it quickly became “wait until Penny gets his guys.”

we had several junior college level players playing last season....
And still won the same number of games that we did the season before with a experienced coach.
What did Greg Marshall do in his first year at Wichita State with players from your former coach?

took him 5 years to get to the NCAA tourney...which is okay..as that was a massive rebuilding job...and Wichita isn't/wasn't exactly a recruiting hotbed (at the time).
Memphis is a different animal...in that if you get a good coach here who can recruit...its going to take a very short time rebuilding your team.
