Updated Rivals 150 Recruit Rankings 2019
Rivals has updated their current rankings for the 2019 recruiting class.

Right now the AAC is represented with the following commits

Memphis - #1, #50, #84, #123

UConn - #82, #132

Wichita State - #115, #116

Houston - #141

Temple #143

I know UConn and Memphis are still going after some high level 2019 recruits. Temple is done from my understanding after adding two transfers. Not sure about WSU and Houston?

Number 101 on that list was in for an OV this weekend at Houston. Tyreek Smith.

Memphis is still in on 6 guys for 2019. I think we can get maybe 3 or 4, if things go right.

All of WSU's scholarships are taken at this point so we are done unless something weird happens.

Besides Precious, who are the other recruits/transfers in the mix for UConn?

We'll likely land 1 of RJ Cole (Howard transfer), Nah'shon Hyland (#76), or Demarr Langford (#71 2020 - may reclassify).

Cole is visiting UCONN in a few weeks. He played high school ball for Hurley Sr and is likely deciding between us and Bama (where he already visited). Unfortunate that he has to sit a year. Hyland probably has the highest ceiling. Love his game. I'd be happy with any of the 3, really.

Then I think we use our last scholarship on Rick Issanza (3 star, 7 footer who's only been playing basketball for 2 years). Very Amida Brimah like.

Hyland will be at La Salle, Rider, Towson, or Delaware within 2 years. He's the most absurdly overranked recruit I've seen in years.

Kid has a crazy sad story. A year ago he jumped out of a second story window to escape a fire that ultimately killed his brother and grandmother. The jump injured his knee ligaments so he's missed a good amount of time on the court.

As far as him being absurdly over-ranked...Kansas and Michigan are now recruiting him.

Interesting because he wasn’t very highly rated just a couple months ago and would have committed to St Joes if they didn’t fire Martelli.

I am a little skeptical based on the fact that he is a year older than most of the AAU kids he has been playing this spring. He also does not have a body that is ready for the college game. He is a very good scorer but his defense is not really there yet. Do I think he is a good player, yes...but he shouldn't be ranked anywhere in the top 150 IMO...

Memphis is going to add three more players in 2019. It looks like three of those four will be top 50 players. The 4th, I hope, is a grad transfer who has Memphis, Kansas, Auburn, Iowa State on his list.
