According to the bowl schedule that FBschedules posted today, we are co-contracted for the First Responder Bowl again with the ACC vs the Big10. I would imagine in the unlikely event that the ACC has that many bowl teams eligible again that they would give the FRB a hard pass after last year's debacle.

I know having only five contracted bowls looks bad, especially without a flagship bowl or even a bottom feeder P5 matchup...

But those are at least some good G5 programs to go to war against.

Next season don't we have 7 guarantee bowl slots?

Every year 3-4 places predicts Marshall to the NO Bowl. Every year Marshall ends up somewhere else. They have never played in NO and there is a reason for that, there are usually 2-3 more programs that make sense in going and Marshall doesn't have an alumni base there.

I would love for WKU to be in New Orleans Bowl, We would bring a good amount of fans to attend....Always had a good amount of fans in New Orleans even in the Sun Belt days...

I saw on the main board that the Boca Bowl will be on ABC. Nice step up for that bowl.

UAB won't be in a bowl this season. They lost every player from last year's team. They'll finish 3rd or 4th in the West. FIU in New Mexico and Marshall in New Orleans wouldn't be good for ticket sales.

From a geographic standpoint, that's probably the best bowl for you guys. I can't think of one that's closer in proximity than New Orleans.

MT might scrape to 6 wins. But it won't be enough to get into a bowl. Unless Massaro and McPhee get their way and snag another free vacation...

Yup. New for 2020. Tie-ins are MAC/CUSA/SBC on a rotating basis.

USM is aiming for the access bowl slot.

Why are C-USA fans so quick to write that game off? It's pre-season. We've got 14 teams with a legit shot.

Otherwise, I'd love to be in NOLA.

Sporting News needs some new / better writers. USM will finish in the top 25 this year and they don't even give us a bowl game.
