Wasp spray used as alternative meth, contributed to three overdoses
Quote:Police in West Virginia say they’re seeing a dangerous trend in Boone county.
Authorities say some drug abusers are using wasp spray as an alternative form of meth and the practice may have contributed to several overdoses.
On Friday, stores in Boone County reported selling nearly 30 cans of the spray.
Physical effects of using wasp spray include erratic behavior and extreme swelling and redness of the hands and feet.
“From what we’re being told, if you use it, you know, you might use it one or twice and be fine, but the third time when your body hits that allergic reaction, it can kill you,” Sgt. Charles Sutphin said.
The challenge is how to treat these symptoms and prevent the use of this legal, cheap product for harm.
“It’s a cheap fix, and you don’t know what their overall result of their usage of this is going to be,” Sutphin said.
Tide pods, wasp spray, bath salts, licking ice cream and putting it back on the shelf in the store.
Millennials really are the dumbest generation to ever live...

It's the one liberal tenet that is true, but ignored by all progressives, social Darwinism is at work.
Wasp spray only contains neurotoxins so if the stupid wish to inhale it what can go wrong huh?
And to Ollie I say, the problem is it might not kill them but might require that we the taxpayers pay for long term medical care, and the moronic Nanny State will just ban the sell of wasp spray. And for those allergic to those pesty critters that could be a real problem. I don't mind them unless they are nesting in my car door or above an entry to the home because they rid my peas of aphids. Now if we could get millennials to sniff aphids maybe we could work something out.

I’m seeing the term millennial but no mention of an age range in the article. Also, what generation didn’t come up with dumb ways to get high. ****, you boomers invented the meth lab.

Nomad, the age doesn't matter. If people are doing Meth then it's on them and if they OD that's on them too. Stupid is as stupid does.

Darwin doing what Darwin does...thin the herd of the weak and stupid.
Mother Nature knows theses idiots need to be removed from the human herd because they slow the herd down and should not reproduce.
