Glad to put a $50 charity wager (your choice) that King will not be a Cougar next year. All that said I think King is making the right choice, he has given far more to UH than they gave to him. Still is sad as a former college athlete with no questions pro chances. Ya’ll don’t know how hard it would is.
i dont feel like betting but i feel confident he comes back at this point... more seniors have come out they are redshirting and king has vocal supported them on social media (up to publicly 4, could be more)
between the press conference where he very sternly says he wont even enter the portal, and the fact that he is doing this with a bunch of other players he is close to together makes me feel confident about it...a lot of them them are doing this just to join king.. i dont think he will abandon them...
note: king had USC (cali), Oregon, Clemson offers in HS but as a WR..he came to UH to play QB. after he signed, houston moved him to WR right away, king thought he was going to stay at WR after we brought in kyle allen. according a recent article (3 months ago), king's Dad tried to get him to transfer to Oregon if he was going to stay WR between his freshman and sophomore season (he had bigger options at WR)..king refused and told his dad he wanted to stay loyal to houston. he ha remianed loyal before

the one situation i seee him leaving is if claytune tune (our backup qb) somehow comes out dominant...and there would be less guilt if he left..
Show me the money!!!
