How have we gotten so bad? Seriously, if your school doesn’t win the conference this year then you are REALLY bad. Are the HC’s in CUSA just that bad?

I thought Marshall would do better than they did today. And I expected more from UNT's offense.

I really believe the P5 hype and the lack of good television exposure has finally caught up with CUSA! It could be argued that the Sun Belt has passed us in quality of football. App State, Arkansas State, Troy and Lousiana Lafayette could beat anyone in CUSA.

USM literally beat Troy at their place two weeks ago.

Okay. We beat them by 5 ... that game could have went either way. They lost tonight to Arkansas State.

I believe it is due to the under performance of the flagships, you know the legacy programs. The ones with no academic standards...Troy, App State they do their part for their conference mates. Our "questionable" academic standard U's really have let us down. Not naming any names.

This conference is still stabilizing after the last reshuffle. Good news is our bottom is rising. Bad news is our top isn't.

Not necessarily we beat them only 5 points! Yay us! That game could have easily went the other way. My point is this those 4 teams could beat any CUSA team on any given Saturday.

So did we. We were worried about losing our OC to USC, and the fanbase seems pretty tired of the new guy already.

I also think Mason Fine is very banged up.

He has 2 weeks to rest up, just like us.

Crazy how the school you mentioned in the SB with no academic standards has higher admission standards than every school in the Sun Belt and every school in CUSA except Rice.

That’s not how football works. Clemson lost to the 98th ranked team (Syracuse) in 2017. Does that mean Clemson was the 99th ranked team or they just had an off game? App escaped Chapel Hill by way of a pick six and the Tarheels are no world beaters. It was a good win but that doesn’t mean they would stack up to Clemson.

While I expected more from our offense too, we are playing with C-USA level talent on the offensive and defensive lines. Clearly, Houston has better talent on their fronts. After watching some of the Marshall game, I think the same could be said for Cincinnati. Houston won't be bowling at the end of the season, but I believe that same 2-3 team would be quit dominate if they played in C-USA. The AAC is light-years better than C-USA now.

AAC no doubt much better this year. All goes back to the ridiculously stupid decision by CUSA to go away from ESPN years ago.
