For this year we are holding this whole conference on our shoulders.

All 25 Tulane fans will be there to see it! I hope y'all practiced with zero crowd noise all week, Tigers!

We appreciate your support ECU fan. I consider Memphis and Cincy our only real rivals. Big market schools are all most people care about anyways. Perhaps your leadership should start looking into the SunBelt, I hear they let just about anybody in, the smaller the market the better.

We have trophy games with LSU and USM.

Memphis is a minor rivalry. So are UH and Rice.

Cincy doesn't care about Tulane one way or the other.

See you next year, looking forward to renewing that Live Oak Stoke rivalry.

I still remember how we shut down your Hannah Montana last time and took you out of the title race.

Fine. I don't let scores of athletic events affect my mood. That's for younger folks.

You guys outplayed us like hell in the first half, then tried to give it back. Entertaining game, from one side, then the other.

We just can't figure out how to play 60 minutes in the same game.

Meanwhile, I was simply referring to your last 23 years of mostly football futility. One great season (with the hard part still ahead), and you're all full of yourselves.

Who knew this would be the premier rivalry game of AAC 3.0.

After the loses by Marshall and Fresno yesterday, this game becomes even more important to who will have the AAC’s best shot at the NY6 bowl.

Not to mention losses by Tulsa, USF, and Rice.

IF Tulane survives this, they will likely be double digit favorites for the ENTIRE closing run of the season.

I sometimes wonder if Willie Fritz is very close to maxing out what is possible at Tulane as things currently stand.

Don’t think any of those three were really in the running, other than in their die hard fan bases.

You sometimes wonder? I don’t even think it’s debatable.

Finishing #9 with a NY6 bowl win is not bad, mind you - most of the P5 have not matched this in the modern era.

Climbing any higher requires Yulman expansion (can this even happen?) and possibly a conference that gets more respect (and this is NOT a shot at the AAC, moreso the culture of CFB that weighs SOS beyond what is reasonable).

You are again right… yet going into yesterday those three teams each had two losses, those six losses were to a combined:
4 top ten teams
2 fellow NYD6 candidates

See what I did there? USF’s loss basically eliminated Rice by association, that explains why we fell flat once we heard that score in the stadium.

But yeah, basically me, panic and probably some bulls fan who doesn’t post here, that was the campaign committee 03-wink

Rice would have had to go 11-2 with dominating wins and then some help. It was a long shot.

Some more MW chaos would be nice.

Look we played like crap and still beat Houston and ECU! If it could happen twice why not another 7 times?

P.S. this is why I don’t go to Vegas…

He could've kept Pratt healthy for Ole Miss and won. Do that and sellout our home games and we've hit our max.

The ceiling will change next year when we have playoff access.
