To those who say that this wasn't the day that Christ was born, I say who cares? The important thing is that we are celebrating His birthday because without His birth we would have been dead in our sins. It's a complicated idea for those that don't believe and don't want to read the Bible to find out what exactly He did and what He accomplished in His life.

The Reason for the Season is His birth, amen.

Merry Christmas everyone. Im having a melancholy Christmas since losing both parents this year. My Mom was a huge Christmas fan. She decorated her house like it was the White House. Going in the AM to the sunrise service that we always attended. Going to be hard.

They both are alive in your heart and mind, and they wait for us. My Dad has been gone since '09 and his voice is still in my thoughts. Absences at family times are hard to absorb. Finding others to celebrate with is a help, even if it seems awkward at first.

RE: Merry Christmas Ya Filthy Animals!
it has always been the most reflective and humblest of days in scope under my skull cap....

whether one believes in Christianity or not, IMO, the crux of JC vs. any 'shepherd of man' in written history, was how his message differentiated himself for the right of man to exist on fair ground vs. unfair taxation....

there's a reason I fly the Gadsden flag and still look to the sky with a "thank-you" every single day....it was pretty simple to figure out the difference between good and bad at the earliest of age (even when the horns came/come out to this day)....unfortunately, not all wake up with that concept as a simple one......what's more difficult is how to combat such when the control mechanism becomes unfair and overwhelming due to the power grab.....

in their time frame, it was simply another version of slavery...

that's the irony when today's atheist (that too many dems) embrace with violence via bad over good combined with 'erasure' as best method...

what's also ironic, is by nature, man is an animal that always enjoyed any version of 'king o' mountain' until civilized man recognized 'equitable valuation within law' as commerce and mobility become more efficient....today's version is the same animal....however, instead of thrashing the flesh with the whip, it's the USD that provides the mobility to dictate....it's not difficult to figure out why both the house and senate have a 'whip' to drive the narrative 0'day///

that's where our Founders recognized the Romans in scope when they penned the framework and defined our system of gov't.....

there's also a reason Pontius Pilate was skiddish when presented the concept of 'Jesus must be crucified'.....that ol' boy knew it wouldn't end well for him down the road....like today's democrat or republican, it didn't end well for all involved...

ah, the irony of muh politics and religion within the masses....

as always, JMTC with an excerpt from, 'Humility and Respect'

to that, Merry Christmas to all!

Best wishes for as Merry a Christmas as you can muster.

Mrs. Dunk and I lost both our moms in 3 months a year ago, hers on the 23rd of Dec., a day before the in laws anniversary and obv two days before Christmas.
She was very much the “rock” and also made sure the Christmas cheer was always done right.

I think a full year later it’s actually tougher in ways for everyone. Sinks in further that neither is with us, or ever will be.

Merry Christmas to all. We move on as we also mourn the loss of two outstanding and unrelenting champions of what it is all REALLY about.

Today is to be a day of celebration.
