Everyone in Columbia is over it. You’re correct, overall it is an inferior product and they don’t really do anything special for the schools that’s they do have

When you started seeing UA alongside Russell at Wally World the writing was on the wall.

UA does not sell their products at Wal-Mart.

They were on the racks around the And1 and Russell stuff for awhile. I haven't been into a Wally World in some time since they started doing pickup, so maybe they're not in store anymore. But they certainly were for a time.

Off topic: The pickup service is great. I might never have to go inside a Walmart or Target ever again.

You must be mistaken. As UA would never allow Wal-Mart to sell their gear in store. Under Armour is probably at least 10 years away from even considering letting Wal-Mart sell their stuff.

Huge embarrassment for NoDak here. This is going to make getting an FBS Great Northern Conference off the ground almost impossible by his deadline of this May 30.

Am so distraught by Under Armour. It is the fastest growing sports apparel company getting another client.

Totally agree. Walmart is great, gone way up our list of shopping stores.

SaveMart fell because they advertise items not in stock, then charge you for cancelling after the major items you ordered they say are not in stock ... they really have to either sync their stocking and customer ability to order, or drop the cancellation fees. We got hit with a cancellation charge after 70% of what we ordered was not in stock, including the two items to even bother ordering (one was meat). Ridiculous.

I got the routine staples and a shovel and wood filler and exterior paint for a home repair project. All in pickup. All in one order. Before the pandemic you could place an order before noon and pick it up same day. That kind of service model can give Amazon a run. Is it cheaper to deliver to the customer yourself while having an enormous inventory (other than refrigerated groceries) in distributed warehouses or is it cheaper to run brick and mortar storefronts with most of the inventory people need (including refrigerated groceries) that then double as local warehouses offering pickup and delivery services and then triple offering in store services like fast food/optical/Rx/auto/healthcare? Both have core markets they do not compete against each other in so they won't kill each other off. But it will be interesting to see where the battle line falls as Wally World gets more serious about competing for the non "People of Wal-Mart" customer.

I have a high degree of confidence I can find SOMETHING UA in my local Wal-Mart. Be that in the shoe section, the men's athletic section, or the South Carolina Gamecocks section.

You will not find any shoes, shorts, pants, or shirts from UA being sold there. If you happen to find a rack, please take a picture and I will apologize, but they (UA) do not sell their products at Wal-Mart.

My memory could be completely off but I swear I’ve bought some UA South Carolina shirts at the Walmart on Augusta Rd in West Columbia before

I think that's the key. UA itself doesn't sell to Walmart, but 3rd parties sometimes do. UA sells blank merchandise to a 3rd party. The 3rd party has licenses to print logos(colleges for example) and uses the UA merchandise as a base. The 3rd party then sells those items wherever they can, and sometimes that includes local Walmarts. I've never seen that much, and it seems to come and go, so I suspect what local Walmarts get are the leftovers that the 3rd party is trying to get rid of at a reduced price. But that could vary from region to region.
