I agree w/ all 3 points. Hopefully the FBI will look into Item 2. Don't get me wrong, this kind of stuff does happen unfortunately, but a red flag went off when I saw the video.

It really does look staged. Surely not. Why would four cops give up their freedom like this? What possible reward would be worth that?

The only thing that I can think of is that they were promised they would not be convicted and they would be taken care of for life.

This whole thing just stinks...why would 4 cops just kill/murder a guy in front of cameras and witnesses like it was just nothing. Disgusting.

That crossed my mind, but all I can say is, good luck with that now. I see no way all four don't get roasted.

Yeah, the rioting and looting don't help the cause one bit. It's actually counter productive. And yet there are some morons on twitter defending it...defending looting...I just will never understand.

A life cannot be replaced"....I agreed but reminded him that two wrongs don't make a right and that looting and destroying property does nothing to bring the life back either...that it's all self serving. I get that folks are upset; however, once that turns to looting free stuff, IMO, it's no longer about what happened, it's merely taking advantage of the situation.

It’s gonna be a loooong summer.

People already at the snapping point, now we add in a pretty obviously senseless death/murder.

Only thing I can come up with (pure speculation) is that the video I’ve seen goes from him being cuffed and led to the car. Next thing he’s on the ground with the Cop on top of him.

Did he resist getting into the car? He’s a big man. 3 of them took him down after resisting. The one cop held him down while the others fanned out to push back on the assembling crowd.

Another instance one f#%^ up following another, following another. Looks a lot like the cigarette guy in NYC a few years ago.

They had him cuffed, what happened after that? Where is/was the flash point?

No matter WHAT happened, and I'm reasonable enough to consider the guy may have resisted during the blank part of the videos, but once he was handcuffed and on the ground, IT WAS OVER. What happened after that was plain and simple murder.

That poor man should NOT be dead today, that is inexcusable and the officer should be charged.

Is there anything more disgusting than killing helpless people begging for mercy? The man died calling his murder "sir" and calling for his mom. THAT COP IS A PIECE OF TRASH THAT NEEDS TO BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE.

The sadness is compounded by people using this to further divide and stoke hatred, and a lot of people all to happy to oblige and play along by rioting and blaming all cops.

No argument here. No need at all to apply a knee to the neck like that. Could hold him down (if necessary) with one hand to the middle back.

Just trying to make some “sense” out of a senseless tragedy. How did they get to that situation? Why?

As I said, one f#%^ up following another. This likely destroys the lives of 5 (or more) families. This one guy was a 20 year cop. He was closer to being retired than being some “loose cannon”.
