Middle Tennessee just moved to Division 1-A two years before (although they were the only team with an admirable record in the Sun Belt inaugural football year). And MTSU didn't go to a bowl game because the Sun Belt didn't have the foresight to realize potentially sending a league champ to a bowl game with a losing record doesn't look good nationally.

The Sun Belt was mostly trash when Louisiana Tech went to the WAC to join Boise, Fresno, SMU, and others. It was a more competitive conference with a stronger brand. It had nothing to do with the UL-Pickem schools.

Meanwhile, your beloved school in ruston is in the dumps: 2 terrible seasons in a row, stuck in a dying conference, suffering the ramifications from that infamous presser you are so eager to defend.

And finally, it is very rewarding for us to see how many other schools and conferences that now see you ruston mutts for what you are. Enjoy your time in hell!

I don't live in Louisiana, Franky. I don't even live on the eastern side of the country, Franky. I'm glad you feel safe at UL-Lafayette. Hopefully the school is honest and has taken corrective measures to ensure academic fraud isn't occurring at your school anymore. That still doesn't help the schools UL-Lafayette screwed over during those Hudspeth years using multiple academically ineligible players.
