UMass cancels fall football season. UMass is 27th FBS football program of 130 that won’t play this fall

not surprised. Actually a bit surprised they didn't do it sooner when UConn cancelled

There is a difference between UConn and UMass, were UMass wants to play in the Spring.

If the Big 12, etc. are playing in the fall, who exactly does UMass and the MAC expect to play in the Spring?

We are going to see individual cancellation from ACC, B12 and C-USA schools. They are not at all solid in support of continuing.

Winter is basketball season, a little in the late fall and March Madness in very early spring.
