If I’m the BXII, I’d do everything to give Nebraska a “join-in-everything” ultimatum and add BYU if Nebraska accepts.

I assume this would be for one season (similar to Notre Dame football joining the ACC for one season). I could see this working if the B1G decides to cancel the entire season (not playing in the spring), however, if they elect to play in the spring and Nebraska plays in the fall, then I couldn't see Nebraska being able to meet their conference (B1G) obligation in the spring. This is a very tricky situation.
On the other hand... has Nebraska felt for awhile now that moving to the B1G was the wrong move in hindsight? Are they wanting to rectify that before the potential 2025 realignment and using Covid as a cover to make a permanent move back to the Big 12? If so, that certainly further stabilizes the Big 12 IMO, but would also lesson the blow if a Texas or Oklahoma were to leave in 2025. Also if this were a permanent, all-sports move, would the B1G stay at 13 or would they try to poach another (probably from the ACC) to get back to 14? I may need to open a new thread for this question, lol.
