me....I have plenty o' 'green'....
I learned in 05 that if a bad one is coming, make sure you got plenty of greenbacks handy.
cash is king....
Luckily I had about $2k in cash. That went along way for ice, dry ice, and gas.
I guess lack of power pretty much kills "contactless" purchasing.
Which is exactly why governments, businesses and schools moving to electronic records and transactions is a terribly bad and foolish idea. Only takes one attack, disaster or EMP to render our society back to the dark ages. They should be using more, not less cash for business these days. And schools need paper textbooks supplemented by, never replaced by electronic learning.
The one aiming for Houston will probably bring EP some rain, and maybe not. I'm glad I live in the desert. If anything maybe a Habood will give us some bad weather but that's about it.

Meh. The one in the Windwards will go up the East Coast. They always do. They show it coming into the Gulf this far out, so everyone will watch Weather channel etc. The cone will move to the East everyday here on out.
And if that happens, it likely pulls the other eastward with it. Not all the way, but more east.

Those dastardly democrats. Now they've made two possible hurricanes to disrupt the convention!!

+3
Wait.....social distancing?
The Governor of Louisiana just issued an edict requiring all hurricanes 'doing business with or in the State' to have coverings that reduce their storm bands from 500 miles to 100 miles, and social distancing requirements that they be 400 miles apart.
Why the F wasn't TRUMP in front of this?
