I would be okay waiting if I did not believe the Dems were going to try to steal the election. Plus the senate is in flux. Therefore, push it through if you can, if not use it as a political issue to drive more people to the polls.

If everything the Leftists have done the last 4 years doesn’t merit Trump and McConnell pushing another Supreme Court nominee through before Election Day, nothing ever will. This is too big an opportunity to raise a big middle finger to every Leftist / Socialist / Progressive / Communist in the country.

As long as Mitch knows he has 50 votes in the Senate, the nominee goes through before the election.

Whether or not they nominate/confirm a new justice, I think this is going to galvanize the left to get out and vote and hand the election to Biden. I think Trumps only hope is to nominate/confirm before the election to crush the spirit of the left to not bother coming out to vote.

I agree if they have the votes push it through, but like others have said it will be a bloodbath. Luckily Trump time and time again has proven he knows how to play chess on a macro scale.

There is time to get it done. This is more important than the Presidential election.
