This road trip doesn't come at a good time. According to most, the Rice game was one of our best, if not the best, game we've played this year. It would have been nice to have another home game to build on instead of making probably our toughest road swing of the year. Tulsa's confidence level is probably up a notch or two, along with the fans, and then go on the road to Nevada and Fresno. Another good game might have been exactly what this team needed to begin to believe, instead if like the oddsmakers think, Tulsa loses two games this week---where is the confidence level?? Where's SJSU when you need them!! :D I guess it might be better to start this trip with a little confidence than to be totally down in the dumps but how will they return from this trip?????

We gotta win 1 out of 2 on this trip somehow. I don't care who you are, you get a split on this swing, you've done well.

So which game do you think we can win?

I think that Nevada is our best chance, Fresno will be a long shot.

I'm going to hope we hit one of them when they are having a BAD NIGHT!! Otherwise as the replies show, it's hard to figure out, where is our best chance. We have never had very good luck in Fresno but I think Nevada may have the best team. I think we should just win both of them so I don't have to figure this out!! :D

I think that's a fair assessment. Fortunately for us, Nevada has been in a bit of a slump lately, so the two are probably about even at the moment. Both are a tough road win no matter how you slice it.

Double digit underdog---the bookies say we are a 10 point underdog!! Boy, it's been a long, long time since we were a double digit underdog to anyone, any place in the WAC. Nevada must be a lot better at home than they are on the road. I guess their win over Kansas indicates that too!! Here's to Nevada having a real bad night at home. 04-drinky

Nevada is undefeated at home this year with a win over Kansas, they are 2-6 on the road. I like our chances against UNR in a couple of weeks when they are in Tulsa but the team will need a stellar night tonight if they want to walk out with a W. I think the keys will be disrupting Todd Okeson while he's bringing the ball up the floor and frustrating Kirk Snyder defensively. If they can do those two things and have a decent shooting night 45+% then I think they can take this one. The true wildcard though is how can TUs big men handle 6-11 freshman forward Nick Fazekas.

The bookies think we have a better chance against Fresno!! We are only a 4 1/2 point underdog. We had better want to beat them as bad as they want to beat us. I'm still hoping Fresno just has a real bad night!! :D
