Just came up short against Kent. They're a good team though, nothing to be ashamed of. Looks like Marshall also has a bright future in bball.

Freakin 62-61 with 18 seconds left and our ball and we couldn't get anything going. A layup and it was our game. We fouled with .6 seconds left and the guy missed the second shot so there was no way to get to half court for a final jumper.

That game was ours to take. Jirsa has already came along way with these guys now he just has to teach them how to put the game away.

I'm very proud of our team. That team was the other undefeated mac team in our division, and they beat us by one. I wish we'd have won, but I'm seeing some reason to be looking toward the future so I'm happy.

Still, sounds like a good foundation. UCF takes on cross town rival Stetson Friday. This is a great game because Stetson is only 40 minutes from UCF and we bring loads of people to the game. IT's always intense.....hopefully we'll be 10-2 on Friday....

good luck in it. Kent has had our number, and seeing as good as they have been, its not a real huge hit to take losing to them. I always want to win though, so i don't know.

Isn't it nice though to be talking about basketball with high hopes this year? I don't know about Marshall, but it's been awhile since UCF started so strongly! We ended up with a pretty good record last year and even managed to make it to the conference tourney final but lost. We weren't picked 1st this year either, but have already beaten the favorite, Georgia St.

And just think, baseball is just around the corner too! At least this year UCF is filling the football void nicely.

NCHerd you know nothing about sports ..... You're an IDOIT ...... This isn't Pro you just can't go around cutting players stupid ....

1st you want rid of Pruett because the guy is only 87-15, 5 Conf Tititles, 6 Div Titles, 5 Bowl Wins, 3 Top 25s, 1 Top 10, 12th in the BCS, 3 #1 Draft Picks & 53-9 aginst the Conf.

And now you would like Jirsa to cut his nose of to spite his face. Kent State went undefeated last year in MAC play and we came with in an Eyelash of stopping that this year. That tells me something. There was over 5000 ppl that saw 1 hell of a game last night. Yes we got beat, I wish we would have won, but if that would have been Greg White on the bench those same guys wouldn't have even showed up and we would have been beat by 15-20.
