It doesn't look like anyone set one up at The Big Time. Hey, we don't have to look down at the SEC in men's basketball (at least not this season when Kentucky sucks).

Last night two top teams met with Ohio State beating Iowa. Michigan is currently ranked #3 in the NET rankings and #4 in both polls.

In 2019, the Big Ten set a record 8 teams to the NCAA Tournament. In my latest "Schmolik 64" update, I have 10 teams including Michigan and Ohio State both #1 seeds and Illinois as a #2 seed.

The Big Ten should have many high seeds in this year's NCAA Tournament and the entire tournament will be in Indiana, Big Ten country! Indiana and Purdue will be hosting NCAA action. Hopefully the Big Ten will hoist the trophy for the first time since Michigan State in 2000 (Maryland won in 2002 but they were in the ACC at the time). Of course my hope is that team is Illinois.

I'm also hosting weekly pick contests and reputation points are at stake at the main CSNBBS board. I'll also have NCAA Tournament pick contests as well.

Rutgers making a come back baby. That midseason slump was painful. But we put together four wins in a row to get right back into the NCAA mix. With five of our remaining seven games looking very winnable, that thirty year drought ends this year.

Buckeyes are picking a bad time of the year to regress a bit.

Last week of regular season games in the Big Ten. My Illini have a huge week traveling to Michigan tonight and Ohio State Saturday. Michigan and Michigan State also play twice, Thursday and Sunday.

Can the Big Ten tie their record for most number of teams in the NCAA Tournament (8) or even beat it? Right now in my Schmolik 64 I have two #1 seeds (Michigan and Illinois) and two #2 seeds (Ohio State and Iowa).

I too thought Indiana was too obvious and I think Michigan State is too. So many good candidates. I'll guess Ohio State.

Penn State vs. Wisconsin was a great game. Big Ten and Big East have put together some entertaining tournament games.

Top 8 seeds in the Big Ten quarterfinals for the first time since 2011, the year before Nebraska joined the conference and there were just 11 teams.

Maryland has a cold 2nd half and Michigan rolls.
