Some “reporters” openly gushed after they declared the Biden-Harris ticket victorious, with some not wasting any time kicking Biden out of the Oval Office as they fantasized on live TV about how one day Harris might be president herself.

But while conservative women didn’t and don’t view Harris in the same way and said so quite vocally last year even as they were told they must Support All Women for the future of America or something, the myth that Harris will do wonders for women across the country endures.

That said, Harris’s defenders will undoubtedly find it difficult to provide a credible defense for the Vice President’s latest “believe all women” backslide, which comes courtesy of an announcement posted to Twitter just a little bit ago on how Harris will “go one-on-one” with former President Bill Clinton of all people at an event Friday that is designed to empower women all over the world:

Bill Clinton’s legendary status as a serial womanizer, a shameless adulterer, and an accused sexual predator and rapist is something we’re not supposed to talk about in polite company, but Clinton’s reputation will always precede him regardless – and once people learned of the upcoming Clinton Foundation Event featuring Harris and the man who used to be known as “Bubba” in certain circles, they understandably had thoughts:

Liberals have indeed “kicked #MeToo like a bad habit,” including Harris herself, who last year – as she was rumored to be in the running for Biden’s VP – conveniently flip-flopped on believing his accusers – and just two years after demanding the country believe Dr. Christine Blasey Ford’s sexual assault allegations against then-Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh without question.

Though the brunt of the jokes about the Harris-Clinton event revolved around how the former President being a part of it was preposterous considering his history, in reality, the same can be said of Harris as well considering her own history of jumping on and off the “Believe All Women” bandwagon whenever it suits her political purposes.

Maybe it’s just me, but I don’t view telling people we must believe Joe Biden’s accusers and then turning around a few months later and saying how honored you’d be to be his vice president as “empowering.” That goes double for Harris’s storied political history in California, a topic we’ll leave on the table for another day.
