I'm just glad he's not in the CAA. I wonder where his next stop will be. I'm guessing a P5 bottom dweller.

From the time he was hired until now he’s saying Iona is his last job.
A part of me says BS, but another believes him.
He’s 68 and he’s back in NY. He may not want the limelight again.

My BS detector started flashing and buzzing when he said that.

He will stay as long as he desires, which will be when he realizes 3M in expenses doesnt get you very far in competing beyond one bid conferences. I give him this upcoming season, 2021-22 before he goes to a bigger program. Ill throw a dart as say he will head to St John's for 2022-2023. So he will stay in NY but still have a bigger program that can spend a whole bunch more

There's no way in hell St. John's would hire Pitino.
First of all, Mike Anderson has a team that should make the tourney IMO and they like how he runs a program.
Second, SJU doesn't want a coach with skeletons in his closet as Pitino does. He campaigned for the job a few years ago and SJU chose Anderson.
