But did not identify what any of those "inaccurate characterizations, cherry-picked information and false claims" were.

Not sure how much reliance to place on a self-serving sound byte.

If there were 800 people left behind per the report but the actual number was 801 or 799 Tom would be fluffing himself raw over inaccurate reporting claims - especially when the reporting makes his boy look bad!

Tom did the Biden plan result in leaving Americans behind yes or no? If the answer is yes - EVEN IF IT IS ONE F-ING PERSON - it is too many. GFY

For the record - Trump would likely have ended up leaving people behind as well, but those of us wearing the red underwear acknowledge this; while you continue to duck dodge and dive to cover for President poopy-pants.

I dunno...seems like a fairly small number regardless, when much of them were permanent residents there...likely working jobs there.

And yeah, the report was prepared by the GOP. Not exactly an unbiased source.

Pretty sure the government never told every American that they HAD to leave the country before we left, right?

So, tell me where I ever said we didn't leave people behind? This putting words in my mouth stuff doesn't work...I would think you'd realize this by now.

If our government said we would have every American out before we left, then yes, that was a stupid thing to say and frankly an impossible goal. But did they actually say that without the caveat that if THEY WANTED to leave?

There were many Americans working jobs over there. Clearly not all of them would have ever wanted to leave...and as I said, I don't believe our government ever told every American that they had to leave...they couldn't regardless, right? All they can do is make the suggestion.

800? In a country a touch smaller than Texas? Not even close.
1000s left in Afghanistan
Quote:President Joe Biden abandoned as many as 9,000 American citizens in Afghanistan following the administration’s botched withdrawal in August last year, a new report released on Thursday by the Senate Foreign Relations Committee revealed. The report contradicts the Biden administration’s earlier claims that just 100-150 were left behind.

In the words of the watercarrier, 9000? That seems like a fairly small number.

Oh, so you're going to lie about what I've said? The number, which was small, was 800. Which in evacuating an entire country of Americans, is yes, small.

Further, the 9k figure is again from a partisan source no more trustworthy than the Biden administration.
