Thanks, everyone. Felt REALLY good. And the smug looks on the faces of the Illinois fans when we scored our first TD in the first quarter bothered me. They looked at us celebrating in the end zone with smiles on their faces as if they were watching little children at play, enjoying what would be a very brief lead before the Illini would throw a wrench in our 'good fortune'. Turned out that we would score the second touchdown too, and would in fact end up leading the entire game, outgain them by over a hundred yards, have more first downs, and it took a school record pair of 50+ yard field goals for them to stay within striking range.
Time to get grounded again though and, as our coach has been preaching to our team all summer, "Don't eat the cheese".

That was a damn fine win that UTSA had over Illinois. And I can't say I was surprised at their win either. UTSA has a big area right around the San Antonio to draw from and recruits well. Congratulations on the win!

That's right. I didnt think it was the first, but couldnt remember the other. Thanks. What P5 conference will be next for UTSA to beat? Bring on the Pac 12!

We play Texas next year, and then Tennessee in 2023. So the SEC is next.
