Season crushing? Come on. No one even thought Tech would be good. We played 3 great passing teams and managed to lose two heartbreakingly. But really no one thought we would be in either of those two. Last nights loss was a designed tip Hail Mary. Did it hurt of course but it’s not season crushing

Tech's biggest lead was 4 pts the entire game and they trailed going into the fourth. Swap the holding calls, the one that was called on a td and the one that wasn't and Tech wins. I don't blame the officials as Tech had other opportunities to win, but you don't get every call or every bounce. I just hope we're building up some credit to cash in in our tougher conference games down the road.

Count me in the minority of Tech fans. Im disappointed and sick over our two losses this season, but am optimistic as our Freshmen are looking great and the transfers are starting to mesh, if Tech stays healthy I'd put us up against anyone left on our schedule and like our chances.

News Flash neither SMU or Mississippi State are that good but I’m sure SMU will do well in the no defense AAC.

Should have won both games, And 9 times out of 10 Tech beats SMU in that scenario but it is what is. I still think Tech has a shot of winning CUSA.

This is how I feel as well. We could very easily be 3-0 right now. I think this team should be contenders for the conference title. This is season is reminding me of the 2011 season where we started 1-3 with every game decided by less than 2 points or going into OT but then winning big after and winning the conference.

These were taken with 7 or 8 minutes gone in the 1st qt home side, endzone and visitor . The other part of the home side (not shown) at the end is 80% empty

Guys and think we should play all the time. ULL is the biggest loud mouths and never put their money where their mouth is but that’s why I love beating them. It’s a rivalry like no other and should always be played even if just to prove we are your daddy.

Yeah they had maybe 10k at the Ohio game and that’s being generous

I don't see any point at knocking anyone's attendance again this year. COVID still exists and I think it is going to take a decent toll on the G5 attendance.

Kind of wondering how UAB's attendance will shake out this year considering we don't get our first home game until October and no early FCS game. The season always loses some hype after the first few games for everyone.

I was just pointing out you shouldnt throw stones when living in a glass house.

Box Scores are bullcrap and hell I never judge live attendance till at least mid way through the 1st qt. Most fans are not "die hard" and need to see every play and a few thousand will not get to their seats till then

Western has a older fanbase in basketball and younger (than basketball) in football mainly because of what it cost to get in the gate for basketball. A long with 4x the amount of students for football. I think Western will see a 15 to 20% decrease in basketball fans because of age. Probably 8 to 10% in football because of Covid

To be clear that thread showed how much LTU is despised (for many years) by the whole conference and not just UL. Fascinating to see how widespread the ‘jealousy’ is.

And I can assure you that ULL has made a lot of enemies within their own conference as well. Every time you have had any success your fan base has been obnoxious and the whole rest of the belt relishes when you always fall down to earth. Believe me people in the belt hate ULL as well
