RE: Cincinnati in CFP
It's amazing everything that had to go Cincy's way

1. Getting ND on the schedule this year and being their only loss.
If ND was 11-1 with that loss being to anyone's but Cincy they jump Cincy

2. ACC - WMU beating Pitt, Wake playing and losing to UNC non conference
If Pitt doesn't lose that game they are top 10 and likely playing for a playoff spot tonight or at least in the conversation. If Wake didn't schedule they game this year they also are 1 loss top 10 and playing for a playoff spot or at least in the conversation

3. Baylor losing to TCU
If Baylor didn't lose to TCU than the Big 12 championship game is a play in game

4. Baylor holding OK State 4th and goal
If OK State hits that pylon they are in the playoffs

5. Oregon beating Ohio State
If Ohio State doesn't lose that game Big 10 would be pushing for both Ohio State and Michigan getting in

Plus:. Start the year in the top ten.

That alone is a minor miracle. Both Toledo and VT had a greater than 95% chance to beat Notre Dame in the final minutes of their games, and somehow ND won both.

You can argue that for most teams to make it to the final four a lot has to happen in their favor. What helped Cincinnati this season was starting at #8 in the preseason poll. You also have to win all your games including your conference chip. Cincinnati did that as well.

How ESPN is pumping that Cincinnati is in. I doubt the CFP Committee would screw them over. That was a convincing win against a very good Houston team.

You consider 15 points “convincing”? Okaaay

Houston had a late TD.

Did they score a TD?! Cincinnati needed to overcome their **** schedule, ALONG WITH struggling with that **** schedule, and win by a MINIMUM 45 points to convince people they belong in the CFP!

You're going to have a seizure tomorrow when Cincy makes the playoff.

And probably are going to be mad as hell about it too saying it's not fair.

Oh, I’ll be pleasantly SHOCKED if ESPN allows them to crash the party! They WILL be the 4-seed and will be LUCKY to lose by less than 21 to BAMA/UGA.

Clearly wasn't watching the game. Houston scored 13 in the first half, the Bearcats came out and smacked them in the mouth, and as you said Houston got garbage late TD. IT was a convincing win but go off Erictelevision. Your username is quite ironic.

EricTV’s school is so awful in football (UCOnn) he has to claim another school for the sport (PSU).

If anything the referees made it closer than it was. It was a clear fumble and scoop and score by Cincinnati that would have made it 42-13 in the 3rd Quarter. But they gave the ball back to Houston and that is how they got their late TD.
