I understand Noodles, we all been burned before at USM. Seems some well informed posters are confident tonight. Unfortunately I no longer get much inside info but from those I’ve seen who are credible, I feel pretty confident.

Political journalism =/= sports journalism. Especially on this topic, where the media spin has little impact on outcomes so late in the game. If the Athletic/Yahoo/CBS report it I'll believe it.

I don't think this is a good move.

Unless the Sun Belt is giving us a sweatheart deal. I would rather attempt to invite Liberty and JMU, and stay in CUSA under new leadership and media deal.

Look, there are good teams in the Belt that Marshall and I'm sure Southern Miss like playing.

But jumping for 1.3 million is not ideal.

Especially considering we're due to bring on a new commissioner and new media deal here.

What about Basketball? I like playing ODU and WKU.

Can we keep our soccer in CUSA? IDK.

According to this, our worst performing team this year is still better than 1/3rd of Sun Belt teams
