"Man Cave" Lineup for October 30
The B1G takes center stage this week with me! The 2:30 time slot is weakest, wish a couple of those 6:00 PM games, a loaded time slot, were switched to that time. How about in your cave?

11 AM (CST)

Michigan @ Michigan State ............................... 62" TV (FOX)
Texas @ Baylor........ ........................................ 42" TV (ABC)
Iowa @ Wisconsin ............................................ 37" TV (ESPN)
Miami @ Pitt ................................................... 15" Laptop (ACC Network)

2:30 PM

Florida vs Georgia ......................................... 62" TV (CBS)
Washington St @ Arizona St............................ 42" TV (FS1)
Purdue @ Nebraska ....................................... 37" TV (ESPN2)
Grambling @ FAMU ........................................ 15" Laptop (ESPN+)

6:00 PM - 6:30 PM

Penn State @ Ohio State ............................... 62" TV (ABC)
Ole Miss @ Auburn ....................................... 42" TV (ESPN)
North Carolina @ Notre Dame ......................... 37" TV (NBC)
SMU @ Houston ........................................... 15" Laptop (ESPN2)

I’m happy to see the two giant Big Ten games made the big screen

Yeah, I considered Auburn vs Ole Miss for the 6 PM spot over Penn State vs Ohio State. I think that will be an entertaining game.

But in the end, the sheer heft and greater national import of PSU/OSU carried the day. :)

A much better lineup than last week's match-ups.

There's time yet to switch. If the Buckeyes start to roll over Penn State, the SEC game promises to be closer.

Yes, on paper. But I agree with "stever20"- last weekend turned out to be pretty thrilling, a great day of college football, as several matchups that looked weak on paper were great games, e.g. Illinois vs Penn State.

No question. This lineup is the "starting grid". But I have my remote control handy in case games evolve in certain directions, LOL.

Yes, I ended up watching almost all of that one as well. OU didn't put it away until very late.

There were just a ton of exciting games. Even games like Cincy and Navy were worth watching. Alabama and Tennessee was close for three quarters.

And then we had genuine thrillers such as Iowa St/Oklahoma State, NC State/Miami, UCLA/Oregon, Syracuse/VT, Kansas State/Texas Tech, BYU/Washington State, Utah/Oregon State and Wake Forest vs Army was crazy.

There were fun games to watch all day long.

noon: Michigan at Michigan State
3:30pm: Georgia vs Florida at Jacksonville
7:30pm: Between Penn State-Ohio State and Houston-Atlanta, no one talking about the World Series?

As the board's Big Ten cheerleader, of course I want to see PSU/OSU want to get high ratings. It is usually the Big 10's 2nd biggest regular season ratings draw of the year (last year it was #1 because Michigan/Ohio State didn't play). But as a baseball fan I want to see the World Series draw well too. I hate that the two games are going head to head and they will hurt each other in the ratings.

Good point. The Penn State vs. Illinois game turned out to be insane and I enjoyed the end of the NCST vs. Miami tussle.
