I think the Three Man Weave predictions look much more realistic.

Also, Marshall at 155? With Kinsey and Taylor, I think we can win the league.

Well, the good thing is DD always plays a weak schedule. 1 top 100 OOC game so Herd fans will be thumping their chests with an inflated W/L record with wins over Bluefield St and Milligan, then come crashing back to reality in conference play. Rinse repeat.

It's actually been the opposite the last few years, we've typically played better as the season goes on.

Grant is a fantastic coach who gets the most out of what he has. I am just not yet sure about our current roster though. There has been a lot of change. I think we might see a step back this year, especially early on. But, Grant will keep them competitive. He always does.

We routinely have one of the stronger SOS ooc. You're thinking of UNT ole pal. But don't worry, we'll curb stomp you on the way out of cusa this season.

I guess we'll get to continue beating that power house ODU that somehow lowly Marshall has been able to hang with since they have been in cusa.

Unfortunately, non D1 is better than playing a bottom feeder. I don't know why UAB moved in this direction, but I'm hoping Kennedy can get us away from it in the near future.

I think it would be more accurate to rank UTSA 358.

We trail OU 33-10 at the half. That's right. We were ONE POINT AWAY FROM SCORING SINGLE DIGITS IN AN ENTIRE HALF OF BASKETBALL. As good as our football team is this year, our basketball team will balance that out perfectly.

Pretty sure unless you think Centre College who you guys play on 12/14 is D1.

I forgot they slipped that one in, in the middle of the season. 3 in the last 4 years is not too bad. I think USM has played 10 in the same time frame.

We suck!

Tech escapes, edging Jackson State 70-68. Got clobbered by Bama, was never in it, and now scraping by an almighty SWACer. Konkol is as bad as Holtz.

RE: SI bball rankings
I put these ranking into Excel to see what conference average would be based on "old" vs "new" conference membership. The biggest loser (as expected) is the AAC dropping from 94 to 121 (drop of 28) and they drop 37 points if you remove just Memphis (gets even worse if you remove SMU and/or Wichita which are prob looking to leave), the SBC goes up 8 points from 200 to 191 but still below both AAC and CUSA. CUSA only changed 2 points at 153 (has a chance to change depending on if they add another member to get to 10). MoState is at 73 and would raise the CUSA average to 145.
