UConn leading Clemson 7-3 in the 1st quarter.

Samford (3-5) of the Division 1-AA Southern Conference is going toe to toe with Florida knotted at 21 apiece at the beginning of the 2nd quarter.

Samford is not going away now leading Florida mid-2nd 35-28. 35 points given up by the Florida defense in a single half to a Division 1-AA team. Wow.

With the Gators now trailing 42-28 to Samford in the first half, we must now consider the very real possibility of Florida losing to an FCS team for the first time since 2013 when a much worse Florida team lost to a much better 1-AA team in Georgia Southern 26-20. The loss to Georgia Southern still stands as Florida's only loss to an FCS team to date......but that could change if this keeps up.

Most points Florida has given up in a half in their entire history. Previous high was 38 to Tennessee.

When we played them in Week 1 they seemed to have a monstrous defense and a monstrous freshman QB Richardson. Richardson is now recovering from an injury, but what about the D?

They've played some really good teams tough, and then they got blown out by woeful South Carolina and now this? Wonder what happened to them? It's like they turned on the "suck" switch.

Poor future Conference USA member, New Mexico State, is getting destroyed by Alabama after leading early 3-0, Bama up at the half 49-3. Tide could legitimately score 80.

I'm only mildly surprised that Tide starting QB, Bryce Young, is still in at quarterback for Alabama in the 3rd quarter with their team leading by 46.

On the bright side, the Aggies are covering the +50 point spread.

Florida up 56-49. They are, probably, going to win now but surrendering 49 points to a sub-500 FCS team is very bad optics.

Out of curiosity, what was the line on the Samford/UF game. better, yet, what was the O/U?

Watching the SHSU - EKU game... Excited to have SHSU in CUSA but wow where are their fans? Wasnt expecting it to look that bad.
