Believe it or not, it's still mathematically possible for CUSA to end up with 10 bowl eligible teams.

We could have told you that. Guy has to have other coached players to succeed. Good recruiter, but doesn’t matter if cannot coach them. That being said, he probably beats WKU. We are 0-39 vs FAU..

Charlotte has some major coaching issues right now. Difficult seeing how we can get another W at this point.

The only hope is to beat Marshall at home. No way Charlotte goes on the road to beat ODU or almost anyone else. There is something in the mindset of the kids or coaches that they can't win road games. After seeing it at Austin Peay also,I think it is a Healy thing.

WT has never been a very good coach. He drove fans nuts at WKU cause he couldn’t ever get it going. How a coach has coached at Oregon and FSU with an overall losing record blows my mind.

I'm not disagreeing with you. UTSA should beat UNT. But this is a rivalry game, and when these two face off the records go out the window. The series in knotted up at 4-4, and anything can happen in their games. I've seen some crazy stuff on the field when we play. If UTSA is fighting for an undefeated regular season and UNT is fighting to be bowl eligible, the game will probably be "Must See" TV (streaming for C-USA).

Taggart recruits a lot of talent. During his time at WKU we became more athletic than the competition. We didn't out scheme anyone (pretty sure we ran the same 5-6 plays with different shifts to try and hide what we were doing). We ran the ball a ton. But when you have the horses you just wear down the opponents. That worked well in the SBC at that time because everyone was pretty bad.

He went to USF and was eventually able to out-athlete some of their opposition as well because he was able to pull a hire caliber of athlete. Still got beat by the Toppers in the Miami Beach Bowl though.

He was in over his head at Oregon and FSU because they always got the talent, they needed a coach to put them over the top. Taggart is never going to out coach anyone. At this level, given enough time, he can probably out recruit a lot of teams and get you to bowl games. I am not sold on him winning conference championships unless he really hits one out of the park on the recruiting trail. He also always keeps one eye on the exit which doesn't resonate well with players.
