Am I reading this wrong? That seems to be a quote from the Cinci twitter account asking their fans to wear black?

Sounds like they’re getting ready for a funeral. Who’s funeral is it?

Didn't you throw the kitchen sink at Tech too? Early onside kicks and what not? That didn't work out well...

No Houston has to lose for the good of the AAC, 99% of the AAC fans want that. They love the conference more than their own team. It’s still sick and disgusting ? but that’s what they want. Even though all the good teams are leaving and 6 garbage teams are joining. Welcome to the “G4” shitnavy!

Unless it is a specific theme, our fans are always instructed to wear black. UC fans were wearing all black long before “blackouts” became a thing.

I know, I'm just teasing. With the defenses that will be on the field Saturday, I'm guessing this one will be decided in the 4th quarter

I don't normally jump into these chest thumping threads of who will be whom... and I won't attempt to start now. 03-lmfao

I really have no idea how the Coogs will play. Part of this uncertainty has to do with the light schedule, but the schedule has also shown that after the 1st game of the season, the Coogs have overcome all adversity thrown at them, improving every game, especially against SMU when everyone thought for sure an undefeated SMU team would wax-on/wax-off the Coogs.

So finally here they are in the Champ game. Have they improved enough to beat Cincy? Dude, I just don't know.

Unfortunately, one team has to lose this weekend, not sure if I'll feel worse if the Coogs lose in a blowout or if it is a 1 point squeaker...

So I'll just hope they win, but as long as they play their best I'll be proud of them win or lose.

Houston's defense is a legit unit. I would be surprised if this one isn't somewhat close. The way for it to get out of hand would be if Houston's O makes a bunch of mistakes and the UC D makes a bunch of plays to give the offense short fields. Otherwise, this is going to be a close game.

And if UC's offense doesn't stay composed and falters against Houston's pressure, an upset is a very real possibility.
