I'm going to have to get used to you being that UNC-Charlotte will soon be in the conference. You're weird, kind of in an "Asheville Weird" type of way but at least you're entertaining.

I'm guessing the dude is maybe a bit immature. What adult would do that, and continue doing it for years? A little beyond weird.

What's even weirder is him/her having alternate handles upvoting almost every post he/she makes? 03-lmfao

Seriously? Damn 01-wingedeagle

That's good! He's a really good fit for ECU. He's set a good foundation. Should be in the mix for conference championship next season.

I think that we'll be improved but so will UCF and others. I posted on our 247 board that another 7-5 / 8-4 season would be good given our continued youth. 9+ wins would be exceptional.

I still think that we're another year away from being close to where we want to be for now.

Am I correct that this $500M campaign is on top of the current endowment? Or is it a campaign to get the current endowment to $500M? I don't know enough about fundraising to really understand what the dashboard is telling me.

I think so. The silent phase has been going on the last year or two and the public phase was announced about three weeks ago. Since this is a University wide endeavor the dashboard breaks it down by specific area or department.

Yeah the buyout sucks but the raise should keep him away from the low tier P5 jobs. Duke wanted him so if he wanted to take a low tier p5 job he could’ve.

The QB situation is a big question mark. Does Ahlers leave? If so, do they bring in a transfer to hedge bets with Garcia?

If the majority of production returns, 9 wins is possible. Next season, the SC-App-Marshall-CharSo slate is replaced with BYU-NC State-ODU-Campbell. 2-2 seems reasonable again. Are the 2022 schedules just a home-away flip of this year's, minus the random wild card we each got from the UConn departure(we had Tulane at home again this year for ours)? If so, we're swapping our UCF/Houston away games that went down to the wire for home games, while Cincy flips to away. A better record is definitely do-able.

I saw that, man Houston's agent really took Gilbert to the shed on that one. We upped his base pay close to 3 times the original deal (went from $500,000 to $1.4 million base) yet his buyout actually went down versus the original deal. I was hoping for at least an initial $5 million buy out that decreases each year.

The QB situation is certainly a big question mark but I think something that is being overlooked by a lot of our fans is that we lose 3 starters on the offensive line. That is big as well, we have to hope that the new guys coming in make a big impact.

Houston goes from the lowest paid coach in the conference to one of the highest

He will be the highest of the 14 schools by 2023 after a few moves are made.
I like this guy as coach.

that does suck. Houston planning his next move, but at least that will mean hes got ECU back on track.

If Houston does not go directly to the JC and portal to beef up the O line we will not improve. It should be his top priority between now and spring ball.
