Yep. That's either a typo, or a miscommunication on ESPN's part.

Even if we had not been declared the winner (by the bowl committee in discussion with the owner, ESPN), it certainly would not have been a forfeit loss for us. We were ready to play.

EDIT: Hawaii fan on another board said it wasn't a forfeit, they just agreed with awarding the trophy to Memphis. Either way, we took it home.
