I know many USF fans were not happy with his play calling.

What was his relationship like with some of the offensive players though? Was he close with the young talent like McClain and Horn? Like is there a risk they find their way into the portal now or is it more likely that the next OC actually knows how to use them better?

I glanced at the topic headline and for a minute I thought it said Charlie WATTS JR.

I think it will be more like the later. Many thought that Horn was really misused in his offense.

I guess we will find out more on who takes his place. I like some of the names already bring mentioned.

That’s one name I have heard he played at Clemson so he has ties to Sweeney and Scott

He played at Clemson during Scott's first couple seasons of coaching.

Was Weis a decent recruiter? He was not much of a playcaller.

I don’t think we are losing much in either case. Our offense was like #102 in nation and many didn’t think his play calling helped take advantage of the players he had.

I am ok with it. He was getter with Kiffin. Had some questionable decisions and clock management.

Agree

Korn would definitely be a great get. He is almost certainly a short term rental though. I'd be shocked if he wasn't given a shot at HC somewhere in the G4 next coaching carousel for 2023.
