Pathetic! Got sandwiched on the drive and they called a charge. Still winless in conference play.

And no, Hofstra is not a strong opponent. The Pride picked up their first CAA win and are now 1-7. They also snapped a 10-game losing streak in the process. Two days ago, Hofstra lost to Towson by 41 points.

Once the contract is up there is no reason to keep the coach. How much worse could we possibly be? Based on the success of a pressing defense that looks to get deflections and TO's from our past two men's teams that have been successful, you'd think the women's coaches might consider brainstorming with the men's coaches and implement their concepts, right?
I believe it would have been up after this year, year 5, but she got an extension after the 2018-2019 season that will last through the 2023 season. Whether that is the 2022-2023 season or 2023-2024 season was unclear in the article. Usually extensions are 2 years.

RE: 2021-22 Women's Basketball thread
WBB finished the regular season 0-18 in CAA play with todays loss on senior day to Hofstra, 67-52.

This marks the first time since 1995-96 the Seahawks have not won a conference game in a season.

We also didn’t win a home game against a Division I team all season.

We’ll face Hofstra again on Thursday in the play-in round up in Philadelphia.

Without looking at any of the history i'd have to ask "how much worse could it be?".

The irony of your team's horrible season is that they took the regular season champions to overtime and Drexel needed a basket at the buzzer in regulation just to get there.

Saw that game JB. Drexel got a very lucky bounce from short corner at the buzzer for game to go OT. I did like your center and your PG really had a feel for the game- always in attack mode but seeing the bigger picture as she drove the lane. You have to know your options heading into the drive and that was very evident with her.
