You have 4 guys who have been with you at least 3 years. All of them rated above most of SMUs roster out of HS. whose fault is it they aren't good enough to start ahead of those freshmen

Garbage hire from beginning and I hope Calkins/Parrish take some responsibility for pushing it. Whether they'll admit it or not they both have sway over the AD and tried to make case there was no other reasonable choice, which was just crap. Ask Penny to step down and go get someone cheap like Andy Kennedy to fix this mess.

You have 4 Juniors\Seniors on the bench...That have been playing for you for at least 3 years.

How can it be an excuse...When you have the same aged players that were more highly rated coming out of HS...Yet your Freshman are still better than them...

It's unprofessional for him to do this. However, Calkins asked a stupid question. It's similar to someone training and poured his heart for the Olympics, then lose an event, and a reporter comes and says, "How do you feel about the loss?" Of course, what is he going to say? Calkins tried to get under his skin and was successful at it. However, both parties need to do better.

You cant use we are playing Freshmen excuse when your upperclassmen are the same players as Juniors\Seniors as they were as Freshmen...

That is why you are starting Freshman...Because your upperclassmen haven't gotten better.
