My point was that Houston hasn't lost back to back game in years and the team takes pride in that and won't want to be team to break that streak

If you said Memphis hasn't made the tournament is ages it's been like 6 years.. stating that it's actually 8 does that change your point at all (your point was they hadn't made it in a while)

Speaking of which this is being thrown around by Houston media folks to hype up the game

I Say Illinois is a good team probably going to make the tournament, but i see them as bubble team till one of their guards step up.. that no need to overhype their floor... and made a joke about them being at best fringe top 25 (to a comment about "at worst top 25")...and you note it every 2 days that they are playing well..ignoring the premise about saying a guard needs to step up (which happened)

You conveniently left out the most important point made about the Memphis injuries. They've had a revolving door of injuries. You can't get the same guys in practice from one game to the next. Duren has been out 3 times with injuries for several games total. Bates three times. Williams at least two extended periods. Nolley, Timberlake, Lomax, Hardaway, Lawson (most of the season), and so on. Camden got red-shirted because he was injured to start the season. Everyone has to deal with injuries, but the constant disruptions we've had to deal with injuries has been a nightmare.

The other point made was Memphis lead the country in different starting lineups. We just had our full roster (minus Bates) the past two games. We still aren't in a rhythm. Last year at this time we were smoking. We're looking better but we're not there just yet.

I was wrong about BYU last year. It's not that hard to say you missed on something. Nobody gets everything right. It's why your act of insisting you're right when you're wrong gets pretty ridiculous. You have plenty of reasonable, accurate posts on college basketball but when you miss you double down and insist you were right and everyone else is foolish for not noticing.

i literally said i miscounted like 4 times ... not admitting i was wrong would be trying to defend that it was "7 years" all along (ie. "it is actually 7 becuase").. im not defending the 7.. how am i not admitting im wrong

if i was obsessed with being right, i would be bragging about my right takes..which i almost never do... i only get "defensive" when people act like i made a horrendous take by twisting things... something that youve done numerous times now

let me give you an example: if you said Cincinnati is a program that has a strong record of making the tournament, they made the tournament a decade straight... if i responded that it was only 9 years and not a "decade" that your entire post is a fabrication and wrong... when that didn't affect your point at all.. that is you right now

I saw somewhere that the line is Houston by 9.5. We will see.

It's easier to admit you are wrong when people aren't anxious to point out your mistakes trying to embarrass yourself. Many on this board need to grow up.
