Like we talked about on the other thread...I think we'll know by the U16 media timeout (yes only 2:30 minutes into the resumption or so), how this one is going to go. Imagine Towson will come out with their hair on fire. Some missed shots and the seniors from Delaware playing like they need to would help.

When you look at Delaware's roster, if they get things clicking, they'll be scary in DC. With the talent and experience they have, goodness gracious...

I would doubt they will have one.

The thing is that they matchup with Tigers. Davis is someone to deal with and you of course have Painter. Dylan hasn’t been the same since his injury but is formidable no doubt. You simply have to match Thompson’s physicality and desire.

Ryan Allen needs to be a confident Ryan Allen from perimeter. Anderson needs to pick his spots. Nelson needs to hit a few big ones. We need Asamoah to deliver a bomb or 2. Hens guards are a little bigger so Cam can’t just play bully ball. Hens can’t be lazy on shooters on defense and must GET caroms to close out stops.

In the end, this is a different matchup than the Dukes and are up 9. Ultimately it may come down to will. Hens effort on Saturday did not match Hawks and that is a problem.

Delaware holds on for the win.

Delaware can look at the film from the Charleston game and learn from it. I think the only reason why Towson came back is they got to the FT line (25 attempts in the 2nd half alone) and offensive rebounds

Smart money is on Towson; they're playing much better than UD right now. But, I have no idea how to account for these circumstances. As a coach, up 9 with 19:00 minutes to play seems like a significant advantage.

A question would also be what is foul situation? I would guess nobody with 3 at this point but we can only hope that they actually called the game correctly and have Thompson and Holden with 4 each. Physical to the point of literally hurting guys-Harvey a good example.

Harvey rolled his ankle, come on man. We play super physical and typically have multiple guys in foul trouble any given game. We are not in a place to talk there.

The odds originally were towson by 4.5 with the over/under at 139.5.

Delaware will play to win, but if the game goes sideways, I fully expect them to give their starters some rest later in the game. They're not going to play this one like their lives depend on it in a similar way that Towson will, and that's what obviously worries me.

I've got Towson winning and obviously hope I'm wrong.

Same situation though with Painter having left the game hurt, he can play tonight.

I'm hoping Painter and Davis get big and have a huge finish to the game.

However, my brain says Towson overcomes a 9 pt disadvantage pretty quickly and puts Delaware away by double digits.

Good question, huh?

I mean, less than 19 minutes of play will decide if their team shares the regular the regular season title + a guaranteed post-season berth.

You would think they could put together a great party, capped off by the 6pm game, and pack the place out.
