UAB got it to 7 a couple of times, but Houston always seemed to have a bucket and a couple of stops to get it back to double digits. That's what good teams do.

What a terrible observation. We had it within single digits in the second half. Look at the game flow graph for both games and tell me which team was never in it.

I’d say leading with 5:31 left in the first half constitutes being “in it”.
