WAC 1.0 didn’t have D2 move ups and bottom feeders. Same for the Big West. Same for the MVC. Same for…you get the picture. Won in all of those leagues.
NMSU and basketball mean a lot in my life. Met my wife at NMSU. My daughter will attend next year. Ran a basketball club for years. All of my kids played/play basketball, all played in the state tourney, etc. Yeah, I’d say NMSU and basketball mean a whole lot to me and my family.

In a 1 bid league, of course you would choose the tournament title. However, winning a few pre-Chicago State tournament titles and ZERO regular season is not “dominant”, like one dummy said.
