Cannot afford another "slow start" in this game. Drake is for real.

Looking at their stats their biggest weakness is three point shooting at 30.8% and they also took the fewest attempts in the conference with only 18 attempts per game. They also allowed opponents to shoot 35% from three. They are a strong rebounding team and led the MVC in steals at just over six per game along while turning it over only 11 times per game average.

The most interesting player statistically is Sturtz. He barely shoots the three, but he's their leading rebounder at just over 7 per game and shoots 59% from the field. He also gets to the line a lot, which tells me he gets his points on the drive and draws fouls.

It's hard to say what to expect. Drake is missing a senior guard that averaged 10 ppg and played 29 minutes. Started 30 of the 30 games he played, and they played 35 games. So seems like something happened five games ago, but they did make it to the conference finals without him. But we're missing our energy guy and one of our best rebounders. I'm afraid this is going to come down to UNCW shooting the three ball if we're going to win, because I don't see us driving on their size. The good news is that we were 10-25 from three today.

We averaged 10.5 turnovers and 7.7 steals.

UNCG goes down to Boston, so I guess we won't get a chance to play them if we can move one.

We are 6.5 point dogs with the over/under at 138. We are given a 20.9% chance of victory.

Drake was #15 in the final Mid Major Top 25 while UNCW was #19.

IMO Drake is the best team that didn't make the NCAA or NIT

Allergic to rebounds, as usual.

Down 14-21, and honestly our defense looks horrid. Leaving the weakside shooters wide open on every possession. Not stopping the ball. Allowing paint penetration, and then horrible on the glass.

Need to clean the defense up badly if they want to stay in this one.
