It most certainly will. That's how dictators operate since they operate without legitimacy. Dictators like Putin operate from a position of fear. Fear their own people so they tightly controlled their speech and actions. They tightly control their access to information. They fear their neighbors. Neighbors who are on a path to a vibrant democracy, economy, and freedoms --- examples that may prove tempting to people he must control to maintain power. So yes - Dictator Putin is backed into a corner now with no other place to go. Let's hope someone in Moscow sees the logic behind replacing Putin... soon.
