Just like I'd never buy or wear many of the sick shirts seen at past trump political rallies and on J6 by several of the insurrectionists.
If a trans kid wants to wear that T to feel good about themselves, then let 'em.
If it were that simple, that would be one thing.... but its clearly not.
I heard a great line from a pundit that i will misrepresent, but I've run into the exact same thing... a parent claiming that their two children are 'trans'.... and they are under 10... I think under 6... and the pundit basically said that the odds that one child is trans is around 1:40,000... and the odds that both are is more like 1:40,000,000... meaning the odds that the parent is projecting this on one or more of her kids is 39,999,999:1.
That's one issue.
I think most of us have sympathy for those who feel bad about themselves... but if cutting themselves made them feel better, you wouldn't just 'let em'... If sticking their finger down their throat to vomit up their lunch made them feel better, you wouldn't just 'let em'.
That's another issue.
We don't let/encourage kids unhappy with the size of their muscles take HGH, or the size of their breasts get implants, or even a tattoo.
That's another issue.
Suicide or feelings of 'wholeness' don't disappear with a t-shirt or surgery... in fact they sometimes get worse. They get better with therapy, as they do for body image issues...
and of course, kids are incredibly capricious. They want attention, even if it is 'bad' attention... and especially for teens, they will do almost anything to get attention.... and are incredibly unaware of 'life long consequences'.
The reality is that no matter what surgery or hormones or anything else someone has, they will NEVER be 'the other gender'. Trans women can't produce eggs... Trans men can't produce sperm. That's not a knock on them.. its just a reality... and 90% of the drivel being spewed about is honestly arguing just to argue. This whole 'cis' label is just stupid... Female means and always has meant 'biological female'. Trans gendered means you are biologically one gender, but you present (to some degree) as the opposite gender. We don't need a 'modifier' any more than 'beef' or 'grass' needs a modifier to differentiate it from 'synthetic' beef or grass , and the only reason one has been created is to try and make 99.5% of the population feel somehow 'less' so that 0.5% of the population can feel 'better'. If I called myself trans black, and you were cis-white... you'd laugh at me... or you should.
It's almost all for show... virtue signaling... choose your adjective like you'd choose your pronoun... hint... if I'm speaking to or about you in your presence, I would never use a pronoun, preferred or not... and if you're not present, what difference does it make to you?
Just another thing to divide us... another attempt for people who don't have enough going on in their lives to feel 'important'. I don't wish any ill on these people... but obviously if you're literally trapped in another body, then you need some serious counseling for YEARS before we start talking about changing your body... because you can't change it back. Look at the market for 'tattoo removal' or 'coverup'
