yeah, these things go in cycles, but people don't live long enough to notice the longer ones, hence the "I've never seen this" perspectives...of course you haven't, you live a very short life comparatively. That said, me ready for Spring, my friend!

snowstorm happening right now in Southern Wisconsin. It was in the low 60's in early march. like clockwork though there's alway one last F-U before we get to spring in the Midwest.

A bit farther North, in the Tennessee Valley, accurate forecasting of possible dangerous weather in the area, but it looks like you'll need extra cushioning to protect yourself from that severe weather...fortunately, the wonder twins can help you out...

Wow! Didn't think anyone'd be dealing with that this late. Hope it clears out for you soon!

This is the first ECLIPSE Weather Forecast I've seen so far...now that it's getting closer to April 8, we'll see but looks like a lot of Overcast and cloudy is forecast across the path of totality. I'm good as I saw the last one a few years ago, and although there were clouds in our area, we high-tailed it out of the big parking area we settled in just before the crowd caught on and drove 20 miles to a clearing where we got to witness the whole thing unobstructed. If there's weather in the area you choose, it can be hard to guarantee you'll see much of anything. That said, it was more spectacular and memorable than I thought it would/could be, so glad I got a chance to see at least one. With the current weather forecast for the nation, looks like I'm probably gonna sit this one out and just rely on my memories of the one a few years ago. If you do try to go somewhere to see it, best of luck. if you do see it, it WILL be worth the trouble (and the traffic--remember to gas up fully and pack lots of extra water, snacks and drinks for the giant traffic jams leaving afterwards. Good Luck!

El Niño Is Weakening And Expected To Become La Niña This Summer, According To NOAA
La Niña can influence global weather: El Niño and La Niña can affect weather patterns thousands of miles away, including near the U.S. There are other factors that influence the weather, but here are some impacts the transition to La Niña may bring:
- Increased chance of a hotter summer in the central and eastern U.S.
- A more active Atlantic hurricane season, particularly in the western Caribbean Sea and Gulf of Mexico
- A warmer, drier winter 2024-25 in the South, colder winter in the Northern Plains and wetter winter in the Pacific Northwest

Sadly, here in south Louisiana we are at the point of the year where the temps are basically 80 and above and will be for the next six months. Probably won't be until approaching Halloween before we have a string of days that top out in the 70s.
